Town administrator for the Town of Mount Pleasant since 1986, Mac Burdette was Director of Planning for the South Carolina Coastal Council from 1980 to 1986. He obtained his graduate and undergraduate degrees at Clemson University. Mr. Burdette is a retired colonel in the US Army Reserves and past president of the South Carolina City and County Management Association. He resides in Mount Pleasant with his wife Ann and his two children.
