MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (April 5, 2010) - Please be advised that on TUESDAY NIGHT APRIL 6, 2010 and WEDNESDAY NIGHT APRIL 7, 2010, traffic on Ben Sawyer Boulevard, crossing the Ben Sawyer Bridge, will be reduced to a single lane to complete construction activities on the new bridge. Flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic flow through these nighttime lane closures.

The lane closures will start at 9:00 PM each night and will be completed by 5:00 AM the next morning. Drivers should exercise caution and reduce speeds in the area. The posted speed limit in the construction zone is 40 MPH.

Motorists are encouraged to use the Isle of Palms Connector during the lane closure period to assure a safer environment for the construction crews and to avoid potential delays. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
