Business License Renewal Mailings Begin

June 21, All Day

On June 21, the Town of Mount Pleasant plans to mail approximately 9,200 Business License Renewal packages for 2013/2014. Completed Applications and payments are due and payable in the Business License Office on July 31. Failure to receive a Business License Renewal Application does not relieve a business owner of the responsibility of paying a fee and obtaining an annual business license. Penalties for non-payment accrue at a rate of five percent per month. Operating without a valid Business License, subjects the violator to punishment under the general penalty provisions of the Town Code. An instruction guide and return envelope are included in the mailing.
